As Above, So Below

So I have done almost nothing today. It was a very very extremely lazy day even though I have finals next week. I found myself getting lost in my mind today. I wish I would have blogged earlier but as I said earlier, it was a very very extremely lazy day. I found myself just listening to music all day. Which is actually very awesome because there are not many times when I get to do this due to my roommate being around and me focused on doing other things. I started downloading some Bassnectar and I like them a lot. Then I remembered this band that this girl really enjoys listening to. And she is pretty sexy in her own way might I add. The band is named STS9 or Sound Tribe Sector 9. This band is absolutely amazing and I am currently listening to them right now. Next time I go on a trip, I know what I will be listening to. So in honor of their amazingness I have named my title the song that I am listening to; Baraka.

Life constantly presents questions. I have so many questions that need answers right now but all I can do is have patience. There is still so much time left in my life and it is very difficult to wait for these answers to arise. Maybe that is why old people are so patient. Girls, money, school, music, and my 21st birthday (which is in less than a month) have constantly been on my mind lately. After this semester ends I feel like I will be back to my normal, carefree self again. I can’t wait! Hopefully STS9 leads me to the promise land of my paper being finished…

So this is my first post on tumblr. I finally decided to get one when i decided that my thoughts are just too great to leave in the abyss of my mind. Now I have a place to store whatever idea, thought, rhyme, poem, and statement without losing it =) And why not just title it hey? I mean it is the best pickup line for a lady.

A simple random thought just popped into my head; I want to time travel. But according to Stephen Hawking, the closest thing that we have to time travel is the ability to travel to the future. I’m down. Well I need a few more years here on this time. I have a few more things I would like to do before I would ever want to face a new reality. I am in college after all. I would also have to figure out how to travel near the speed of light because nature does not allow us to go the speed of light. It works because when you travel at a speed near the speed of light, time for you actually slows down. So if you travel at near the speed of light, it would be one year that has passed if you only travel for a day. Crazy stuff and I wish I could ellaborate on it more, but Stephen Hawking is one intelligent man and it would take me years to understand what he can think.
